In modern data centers, cooling systems are a major energy driver, often consuming up to 40% of total power due to the intense heat generated by high-performance hardware. For Wafr’s SuperPODs—traditional air cooling falls short, wasting energy and straining resources.

Wafr Cooling technology operates on the secondary side of the cooling system, optimizing heat removal from the facility’s water loop using high-efficiency heat exchangers. This allows seamless integration with any existing or new primary circuit—whether immersion, direct-to-chip, or air-to-liquid. Wafr enhances the efficiency of the overall system without disrupting the primary architecture, making it ideal for both new setups and retrofits.

Wafr eliminates the need for chillers and refrigerants by using a proprietary passive cooling system through PCM, resulting in up to 80% energy savings in the cooling process. When paired with immersion cooling on the primary side, Wafr’s secondary circuit boosts overall efficiency—drastically lowering total facility PUE to as low as 1.03–1.07. This holistic synergy unlocks one of the lowest total power consumption footprints in AI and high-performance computing environments.
